For over 35 years, Mountain BizWorks has supported entrepreneurs by helping them grow their practical business knowledge.
Courses and individual classes led by experienced business owners are designed to help you navigate the critical stages of the business life cycle.
We can also provide 1-on-1 business coaching with successful local small business owners to provide individualized support.
If your business is in a LIDAC community, the Electrify Fund can help you expand your capabilities by providing funding for clean energy employee training and industry certifications.
In addition, we will participate in regional workforce development programs to help increase the number of Western North Carolinians that are qualified for the good jobs the clean energy industry can provide, and ensure that clean energy businesses have enough talent to meet the demand for their services.
As the Electrify Fund helps local businesses and non-profits attain clean energy and energy efficiency projects, we are looking for reliable local partners to refer clients to. If you are interested in participating in this program, you can find more information here.
