Expanding Clean Energy in WNC

The Electrify Fund was created to make the cost savings, reliability and resilience benefits, and emissions reductions associated with clean energy and energy efficiency projects attainable to Western North Carolina (WNC) businesses and nonprofits.

Creation of the Electrify Fund

Based on more than 35 years of experience supporting small businesses to start, grow, and thrive in WNC, Mountain BizWorks is excited to launch and grow this new program to help address some of the historical gaps and challenges that have prevented small businesses, nonprofits, and small local governments from lowering their utility bills and increasing their energy independence.
